View Full Version : I need your opinion: Should I promote TeaParty on RonPaulIsHope.com?

EDIT: A banner is up. I won't make any more changes, so disregard the poll, but feel free to comment still on the site.

I had entertained the thought, but I want to keep ronpaulishope.com as clean as possible, and I'm not making any changes to it without some major consent.

Then I saw this video:

Do you guys think I should make it play right after "A New Hope" on ronpaulishope.com, and then forward to the ronpaul2008.com website?

EDIT: I forgot one option that I never expected. To replace "A New Hope" altogether with that video up until December 16th. If you're in favor of this, make a post and say so.

I think you should replace the ron paul is hope video with the land of the free video.. and then after the 16th switch it back

Yes, they have some very nice artwork that would make your site beautiful. Also, it is only going to be the single most important event of our campaign.

Just add a TeaParty07.com link at the bottom or something...

Keep up the Ron Paul: A New Hope video at the minimum. That's why people are spreading that particular link.

I voted leave it as it is but I rather prefer "Yes, add a small banner underneath the video."

Come on, you don't want to exhaust a person from watching video after video. Just a small banner would be fine to let them know whats going on currently.

I will say that all Ron Paul sites should include a link to the Tea Party. Every last one of them. Every channel of media we control on the internet should be funneling traffic for that purpose.

While you're updating the website, use Ron Paul A New Hope 2.0 instead of the first one:

If you want to use a video to promote TeaParty07, but you don't want it to be a long complicated video, consider using one of these short promo videos. One is only 10 seconds, the other is 26 seconds. They have the look and feel of the TeaParty07 website, and are very well done.

kk, Here's the deal... eLib3rty, the creator of that video has and updated version out...

It is better quality and removed some of the more derogatory attacks.

Second, he also has Dec. 16th video that is better than the other one, imo...

If most of your visitors are non Paulites, then it is great with "New Hope" video and Teaparty banner.

But if most of your visitors are Ron Paul supporters, "Land of The Free" will pump them to participate in what is probably going to be the decisive point in this campaign.

Besides, with your traffic, the views of "Land of The Free" would place the video in the front page of YouTube, creating even more awareness and passion for Teaparty.

Wow... I didn't even know that site existed. I've been telling everyone to "YouTube A New Hope." If you leave A New Hope on your site, I will just start telling people on the street to go there.

I like how you have it now-- A new Hope, TeaPary banner, and link to official site. That is awesome. If you are going to change or add video, I think you should use Eliberty's TeaParty video.

I won't change it; the site was created specifically for "A New Hope" to make it easy to introduce people to Ron Paul (it's easy to spread by word of mouth). I will not make any more changes until at the very earliest Dec 16th.

I just watched Land of The Free again... that is a good video. But A New Hope is just awesome. When new people see that video, they gotta have a Rongasm and get hooked.

There's nothing unfortunate about that! Your site has a place in the freedom movement, and that place is introducing new people to ron paul through the A New Hope 2.0 video. I think it is great as it is with the Tea Party banner added.

My only suggestion would be to center the tea party banner as well as the link to RP's official site. Maybe put one above and one below the video.
