This is a TRUE REVOLUTION! It is JUST AS MEANINGFUL as the AMERICAN REVOLUTION that gained us independence!

The only difference is that it will be a PEACEFUL revolution!

So, the fact that we could overwhelm him with 7500 "no" votes isn't really news. The news is that he only got 630 people to agree with him.

I think Glenn Beck's followers should be the ones that we should be afraid of.

Anyone remember this incident?

http://www.rawstory.com/news/2006/Olbermann_on_what_motivated_man_to_1115.html

Not only that, but if you go to any right-wing blogs, you'll see threats of violent acts and such against certain individuals in the public sphere.

Heck, on myspace this one moron posted in the Republican Group that he was a firefighter, knew where Cindy Sheehan lived, and would share with anyone who wanted to burn her house down how to cover it up!

Even better - get a bunch of Ron Paul supporters together and in the middle of his show start chanting "Ron Paul" :D

Told them that they will never be getting any business from me until they stop sponsoring TV shows that use hate speech like Glenn Beck's. I specifically mentioned the Ron Paul piece as a "last straw" motivation for contacting them.

I accidentally tuned in to Glenn Beck on the radio while driving home tonight. He was talking about the (possible) impending economic collapse/severe recession/mild depression/major depression. He advised a caller to not vote for any candidate who was promising new government programs, due to the trillions in unfunded liabilities in the current programs.

Then he said that the candidates should be promising to cut government programs, not start new ones. He said (paraphrasing):

Do you know who is right on this? Ron frickin' Paul!

I like Beck. He's an entertainer after all, and he's entertaining. I think his "anger" towards Paul is largely from his being snubbed early on. Ron should almost go out of his way just to get himself on the show, end that part of the bitterness. Beck's pounded it into his listeners that Ron is a kook. Having Ron on would show that he isn't, and it'd be easy for him to do considering Beck has overhyped Ron being crazy. And, hey, maybe Beck gets a little more favorable towards us. Either way, I think it's worth Paul being on the show and airing out his policies to Beck's audience.

Ron can handle himself no matter how thick the head is of the interviewer.

Beck is a schizophrenic... he needs to just make up his mind. If he really thinks Ron Paul is the mayor of "Crazy Town" then he could at least be consistent and dislike Ron Paul and his crazy ideas everyday. This guy just pisses me off. He's out for his own self-aggrandizement and wants nothing more than to take Bill 0'Reily's place as hack journalist of the year.

Funny...when people do these polls, if it confirms their beliefs, they say "see? most people agree with me" if it doesn't, they say "well keep in mind this wasn't a scientific poll"

All I have to say about Glen Beck is that he ticked me off so badly today that I am going to double my donation from Nov 5 on Dec 16, and that I am taking to the streets. I have been wanting to flier my hood, a flier rolled up at each doorknob, but have had no time.

Well, I'm ticked. There are 5000 households in my hometown hood and they are all getting a RP slim jim. Thanks to Glen Beck, I will be studying when I should be going out having fun, and stomping up and down the streets when I should be studying. I've always planned on doing this, but now I'm serious, I'm starting this weekend.

That smarmy SOB. NO ONE talks about my Congressman like that and gets away with it. Same goes for that ninny George Stepha-i'm-a-moron. These flippin' people. Does he honestly think that the HUGE over 60% majority that voted for RP last year and kept him in Congress are TERRORISTS?????? I ask you. Yeah, sure. We're all a buncha terrists down here. Whatever.

The harder they push, the harder we push back. I live in the district, but my folks live in Houston. I figure my efforts are better spent outside the district, don't you think? One slim jim per house, that's right you twit Glen Beck. Given the effect this insipid person has had on me, I hope someone in the MSM is stupid enough to say something very nasty on December 14, so they can go into shock on December 16 when we are inspired to cram even more of our money down their throats.

Idiots.
