My brother called me this morning while delivering hardware, to let me know that there was a huge contingency of people, (estimate hundreds?) marching near University or Riverside, in CA. With Ron Paul Revolution and peace banners... He mentioned that they were being escorted by police.... How awesome, i did not hear of a march or anything?

:D

There is no reason we can't win California. The Republican party is tiny and simply registering R for Ron Paul in this state has a big impact. His message is also very popular and he can easily take major metro centers like Los Angeles and San Francisco. Furthermore, Tancredo and Hunter will get some backing in this state further splitting the war vote and taking votes away from the "front-runners". The religious right is non existent in this state so Huckabee and Thompson will go nowhere out here.

Gulianni and McCain are the two candidates to actually worry about and considering McCain is going nowhere it's plausible we can edge out Gulianni and win a significant number of delegates in the state.

steven vincent and few of the other meetup coordinators in los angeles are gnarley and doing a great job. Canvassing neighborhoods, door to doors', marches, constant sign-wavings and many of the supporters go out on their own... and Sign wave on street corners...

They are doing a good job here in Los Angeles... I hope up north, and down south are jamming too.

Paul can easily dominate California. At least among Republicans.

I think he'd even have a good shot at taking the state in the general election. Californians are not real pleased with Washington and the federal government at all. After 8 years of bum-raping by Bush and his Enron cronies, and local medical marijuana laws being trampled by the DEA, I think this state is ripe for some empowerment of state rights. The state has strong libertarian, and anti-war sentiments. Paul drew well more than 1000 people when he held a rally outside Google HQ, and of course the googleheads went gaga over him.

Paul just needs to get his message out in California and a lot of people will embrace it. That's going to take a lot of money, because it's a big state and TV is expensive. So everyone donate more on 12/16. :D

Do we have the motorcycle groups helping Ron Paul yet.

The helmet law is a very big issue. Some of the nation's largest gun shows are at the Pomona fairgrounds.

There are also skiers, snowboarders for Ron Paul starting. Mammoth and Big Bear and Lake Tahoe should be targets.

Erazmus, I grew up in Fairfield, California. Are there any meet-ups there yet? I'm sure that my dad would be interested.

The San Diego and Riverside meetup groups are extremely active as well. We're in Temecula, CA (halfway between LA and San Diego) and we're trying to keep up with those guys.

We had an Informational Open House for Ron Paul on Saturday in Fallbrook, CA and we had a few people become new Ron Paul supporters. That was exciting.

Now that California is no longer "winner-take-all", Ron has a real chance to win a lot of delegates out here.

Where abouts in Riverside? I used to live at the Corona/Riverside border where the 91 meets the 15, McKinley exit.
