Since the mainstream media will never create an artificial surge for us like they have for the others, the only other way is a win. Preferably on a day when no other states vote, so that there is nothing else for them to talk about. As in tomorrow. I'm sure it's foolish but I'm still hoping for the miracle. There appears to be at least a chance anyway.

But if we work to get our people elected throughout the nation then the game will change in the future...

We have to keep fighting for the bigger picture no matter what happens to Ron this summer.

Honestly I don't recall those states being polled in past elections either. Essentially, there are a lot of states that come up all at once, there are only so many man hours. I am guessing there is not much profit in polling those states, compared to the others.

You must not be involved at your local and state level then. Granted there is a lot of party leadership (the guys in the spotlight) that talk out of both sides of their mouth, but their actions do not represent the 55 million people that make up the GOP.

LOL are you kidding me? I have been in paid positions (and non paying positions) for GOP campaigns on both a local and state level. Vast majority love big government. They are for prison industrial complex, or the drug wars, or foreign wars and the like. Easily.

Look at the GOP heroes like GWB, Nixon, Reagan...all GIGANTIC government guys. Welfare state, drug wars, foreign wars...

Well I am not sure where you live, but I have been involved for 25 years in South Jersey, the Philly suburbs and now in Central PA. And I have seen the opposite. In fact, our State Senator here in PA has as sound or even sounder libertarian/conservative positions as Paul.

The Oklahoma race is nearly a toss-up, with Santorum leading at 28%, former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney second at 25%, and former House Speaker Newt Gingrich trailing at 20%. (These differences are well within the 8.8% margin of error for the Oklahoma poll.)

Like Dr. Paul says about abortion the problem is the morality of the people.

The solution is to make better people. Be an example. Educate. Disseminate information. Expose fraud. Get people off TV and onto the net instead.

You should check out New Hampshire. We likely have more libertarian legislators than the other 49 states combined. Guess what, they are all Republicans.

Oh also, if you are serious about wanting the numbers to change, the way to do it is through senior citizens - plain fact of the matter is that they vote like nobody's business and they also watch too much TV and don't get news from the Internet. Unless you firsthand intervene and tell them the truth they will have no reason to believe differently than what the teevee tells them.

One state's gop isn't the national gop or largely the gop. NH GOP makes up very little of the GOP. Just look around nationally....and most state legislatures, governors, etc. that are the GOP. They are not small government people. We are disillusioned if we think that. Even the GOP's history.

According to the website keeping track, they know one of the three Oklahoma super delegates is backing Paul. They don't know for sure which one it is, but they are pretty sure they know who it is. So they aren't counting it exactly yet for RP. He also has an Iowa Super delegate at the moment (State Chair).

I agree. It is the New Hampshire GOP though. There are lots of small government people in the NH GOP. The NH GOP loves small government people. It supports them with volunteers and money. I don't know about the GOP in your state, but the GOP isn't necessarily anti-small government.

Our country would be a lot better if it was like the government and politics of New Hampshire. Even a lot of the dems there aren't that statist....statism is not the rule in New Hampshire, it is virtually everywhere else of one kind or another.

After the recent release of Romney's video presentation, he's going to crash hard. I think you're going to see a 3-way tie between Romney, Santorum and Gingrich.

The reason we don't get anywhere is because of electability. But if we win WA. The things could change VERY FAST! Lets hope for the best.

I personally would like to thank EVERYONE who helped get out the vote in WA. If we win, cheer yourself, if we don't then we tried our best but we still won for the cause of liberty :)
