Gah, I sure hope Paul can get this sort of crowd. When I saw the title, I thought oh maybe ROmney had like 2,000 people turn up.

Nope. 9,000. In Idaho Fals...

That's odd. Another paper said it was 1200.

Well, Ron got the event center for it, so let's see what happens....

Thre's a major Morman vote there. I would expect Romney to do well.

Idaho Falls...beautiful city...full of Mormons.

But I'm sure if 9000 showed up at a Ron Paul event the media would report it as 800-900

True. Most of them simply vote for Romney simply because he's Mormon...

This one says 1000 http://www.sfgate.com/cgi-bin/article.cgi?f=/g/a/2012/03/01/bloomberg_articlesM06BEQ0UQVI901-M08GJ.DTL

the other one said 1000 in one gym and a couple hundred in the smaller gym, but I don't see it now.

I think it is like an introduction, not a sealer, at least, a bunch of Morman's favor Ron because he is best at living up to the Constitution.

Here: Fire Marshall estimates 1200 in one gym 1000 in the other. Still less than a few events Ron has had, MSU being just the latest.

he bussed that many people in? What's sad is that Romney probably doesn't know they were bussed in. Romney: "They really luuvv mee!"

1200 sounds more like it, i mean romney never had that many people at an event, now all of a sudden i am to believe out of no where 9000 people showed up when they dont have any pictures of it what so ever? yeaaaaaaaa right!!

This one says 2200. I tried to find capacity of the gym but could not. I think over the weekend I'm going to go through the candidates' schedules and find reported versus actual crowd sizes and write something up.

Looks like there was another gym with another 1,000 people. So like 2,200 people. Not close to 9,000 though LOL.

There is only one HS gym in the US that can carry more than 9,000 people. I'm calling bs on the article.

Having lived in both ID and UT I am not the least bit surprised by this.

It will be better to visit ND instead of 3 stops in ID. ID LDS population is about 23% (much higher than NV, AZ). It is extremely hard to beat Romney in ID.
