I know these things were controversial, but they are just what we need, I think, for our County Convention out here in Wyoming. Anyone have some left over? I can pay you for shipping; I'm just trying to get a good deal, avoid paying full price for them. Probably only need a couple hundred.

Ha, ha! Come on, they're very colorful and attractive. That's what I want. If you know of some other colorful and attractive brochures, I'd be happy to use them instead.

What's the target? Traditional republicans? Libertarians? Democrats? Young? Old? Guns?

Traditional Republicans. Mostly old. Generally establishment. Gave Santorum the win in our straw poll.

OK, that one's good. Do the Superbrochures really have lots of things that would be off-putting to my crowd?

for our County Convention out here in WyomingOh I didn't realize this is the one of the first 2nd level caucuses already. Wyoming goes precinct caucuses then county level the next week!

Yeah, I don't think Superbrochures are the way to go for the county convention. Most of them aren't voting for Ron Paul because of the foreign policy, and the foreign policy section of the Superbrochure is the first thing they see and don't like how it's phrased.

The flyer I linked above has wording that seems to have convinced or at least appeased many of the caucuses goers in Reno, Nevada.

Although, at the county level, aren't people just voting for delegates to move on? There isn't a straw poll is there? Or are people supposed to reveal whom they support, so there'll need to be some convincing if Ron Paul delegates aren't already a majority?

(Remember, if Ron Paul delegates have more than 50% delegates to pick a smaller number of delegates to move on to the next level, all 50% Ron Paul delegates need to vote only for the smaller set of Ron Paul delegates to move on, and none of the other delegates will win delegates.)

http://www.jacklalanne.com/ patiently listen to what he said in his heyday. (guess who he sounds like!) here is my idea.

try to find in the demographic of the elderly GOP people the ones who really liked his tv program and exercised along with him. (hint)

The thing to focus on is that big red line. No other state has a big red line. Only us. That line is incredibly powerful. That line means that the 9 Ron Paul supporters in Niobrara County could, by themselves, send one delegate straight to national, and thus control 1/2286th of the convention.

That's leverage.

Each county chooses one national delegate directly. One man, who leap-frogs the entire process and goes straight to Tampa without passing Go -- no other hoops, no other rigamarole, no other layers where we can be cheated out of it. (OK, half choose alternates, half choose actual, which is why 12 total are chosen when there's 23 counties).

Anyway, your thing is good, I just wish it were more colorful, something that you just want to reach out and grab because it's beautiful. Maybe a two-sided slim jim with the Superbrochure cover on the front and your thing on the back. Is there any such thing as a pdf of the Superbrochure, that I could hack up in such a way and have a print shop make some glossy pretties?

I've never used them (sorry I couldn't be more help that way) but from what I understand they are awful if mailed.
But work pretty well if handed to someone in person with the ability to talk over them a bit.
If my hearsay evidence is accurate this sounds like just the right place for them :)

EDIT: If you want to PM me the details of what type of cover you're looking for (remember I haven't actually seen the brochure) I can reach out to a couple graphic artists I know and see if someone will create one for you. Let me know what you're looking for in form and content and when you need it and I'll see what I can do for you.

PolicyReader, that sounds great, but that's more involved than what I was needing. I got someone who can send me some superbrochures, we have a bunch of the slim jims coming, and we have some other stuff printed out, too.

Thanks so much for your willingness to help. Hopefully we will be as prepared as possible.
