• Only 31 of 435 members of the House provide information on earmark requests
• 68 declined to provide requests; 329 didn't return calls or provide requests

Ron Paul was 1 of 31 members who disclosed their information

They all seem fine to me for the most part, though some of them I don't understand.

What catches my attention is
4 bridge constructions
lots of construction
lots of 'investigations'
2 'earmarks' for
- Funding for research into the Shrimp Industry Fishing effort in the southeast
- Funding for Wild American Shrimp marketing. Funding for this project will given to the American Shrimp Industry, given by NOAA, a government weather and oceanography orginazation.

same topic posted here.. http://ronpaulforums.com/showthread.php?t=3618 its cool that he is open about his earmarks and not hiding anything. he can use this as ammo later on, i assume.

Yes. Imagine if all 435 members disclosed everything they did. It would be so lovely to have that ability to scrutinize the government

Im sure we would get a lot of stuff like:

"I request funds for the foundation of benevolence and patriotic american issues, need 100,000 in cash dropped off in the back entrance of the local motel at midnight. Come alone."

Or from William Jefferson: just drop off in the $80,000 in the fridge in my office. I'll take it from there..
