Yes, the advertisement is booked and paid for. It is black and white, it will run in the USA Today nationwide edition, Section 1, News Section.

It supports RP and promotes the TeaParty. It will look great. A draft is in the works. When the draft is completed we will post it.

I have paid for the advertisement personally. We did not have time for a PAC.

Yes.. I see.. !! God's Best Possible Blessings to you llepard..!!!

" In the beginning of a change, patriots are scarce, and brave, and hated and scorned..
When the cause succeeds, the timid join them, for then it costs nothing to be a patriot."

llepard.. is one of those... :)

"Is it a rebellion?" asked Louis XVI of the count who informed him of the fall of the Bastille.

"No, sire," came the reply. "It is a revolution."

Thank you so much! The date for the ad to appear was exceptionally well chosen - right before Thanksgiving as airports all over the country are packed with travelers. And what newspaper can be found in probably every airport in the country? USAToday.

Again, thank you llepard and everyone involved in this project.

This is incredible. I'm ... I am inspired. I really don't know what to say. You are a credit to humanity llepard. I plan on maxing out on the 16th. Until then I don't know what I will do just yet. But reading about this just squashed what remained of my apathy.

I am going to think about this after work today. I need to do more.

This is a wonderful gesture, a smart move, and emblematic of the way Dr. Paul's message inspires us all to action.

Thank you for everything you have done and this act in particular.

We should have the PR machinery ready to sell your story on the day the ad hits. Not before, but on the day of.

Thanks again.

Llepard,

I have been amazed by you from the early days of this forum.

This totally leaves me speechless, there are simply no words.....

I challenge everyone to at least double their pledge for the TeaParty. It will still be small potatoes compared to this complete awesomeness, but DO IT!!!

Thank you, thank you Llepard!

Ron Paul Supporters Run Full Pg Ad in USA Today
Tuesday, November 13, 2007 - FreeMarketNews.com

On either November 20, or 21, USA Today will be running a full-page, black and white ad in support of the campaign of presidential candidate Ron Paul (R-Tex), currently titled "An Open Letter to the American People."

The ad will be paid for by a wealthy Ron Paul supporter in Massachusetts who will be placing the ad on his own behalf and is not associated with the official campaign. The graphic design work is being provided out of NH, and the ad concept is the brain work of the team at www.ronpaulforums.com, sources said.

The black and white ad will emphasize the constitutional nature of the Ron Paul campaign and the foundations of his small-government, anti-tax and anti-foreign entanglements perspective.

Answers.com profiles USA Today as follows: “USA TODAY is the #1 daily newspaper in the US, with a circulation of 2.3 million. First published in 1982, it is available throughout the country and through international editions; the paper also published news on its popular Web site. … More than 60% of its paid circulation comes from newsstands, vending machines, and hotels.

USA TODAY is owned by #1 newspaper publisher Gannett.”

I imagine LL wouldn't ask... or want it even..

but.. maybe we could create a 'chip-in' or something..
to help reimburse him..

since.. he 'answered the call'.. and took it all on himself..

because.. I think he said.. there wasn't time to create a PAC
or something to collect the money in time for Thanksgiving..

Thoughts?

Mark and others. Thank you for the kind words. I do not need donations. RP does. Let the advertisement be an inspiration. Give to RP. If you are maxed out, give to Lord Xar's PAC.

If you feel the urge, run an advertisement in a national newspaper. We can start a trend.
