There were 3 candidates that spoke at the RLC meeting at the CA GOP conference over the weekend. I don't remember all 3 though..

Rabbi Nachum Shifren spoke first and sounded pretty liberty-minded except for when he answered the ID issue saying that we should have some universal registration.

The second guy I forgot his name, but he seemed to attack the first guy saying you need to pick a candidate that won't be made fun of by the media.

The last guy Rick Williams sounds to be pretty "Ron Paul" Republican and seemed to take lead in the march through the convention.

Be careful. There's much more to it than that. A lady I know seemed to like Ron Paul, but it turned out she was extremely power-hungry, manipulative, and selfish. Not the kind of person who should be given any position of power. There's much more to Ron Paul than his positions.

Did Dan Hughes speak?

I take it Emken didn't speak, but judging from her campaign staff, it will be a cold day in hell before she gets a vote from a Ron Paul supporter.

Did Dan Hughes speak?I don't think so. I believe the 3 candidates who spoke at the RLC meeting:

Nachum Shifren: http://www.shifren4senate.com/
Al Ramirez: http://www.alramirez.com/
Rick Williams: http://rickwilliamsforsenate.com/

Thanks for the update.

Took a quick look at Al Ramirez's website. Not quite as good on the issues as Rick Williams.

THE NATION'S SECURITY

Californians can rest assured that for once they will have a Senator who respects our men and women in uniform. I will be a Pro-Defense voice in the United States Senate to keep America safe, stop the destruction of innocent life and be vigilant against our enemies and those of our most loyal allies. Specifically, I am committed to supporting Israel's defense against nuclear threats from Iran. We must also begin to take time to review how America distributes foreign aid to insure it supports policies that put the interests of the United States of America first.

I wouldn't want to jump to conclusions, but seeing as Rick is a member of this forum, he looks like our candidate! ;)
