See the Bill: Wyoming Government Continuity Bill (http://legisweb.state.wy.us/2012/Introduced/HB0085.pdf)

And this is why people should pay attention to Ron Paul. I'm posting this to my personal Facebook page for my apathetic The Oscar and The Voice watching friends.....

It's co-sponsored by Kendell Kroeker, the only state legislator in Wyoming to endorse Ron Paul.

Here's what he said:

HB85 just passed the committee of the whole. I loved Rep. Peasley's comment that if the Casper Start Tribune writes an editorial against a bill you know it must be good. This bill would cause us to look at potential effects of things like the collapse of the federal reserve note and how we in Wyoming can be prepared. When we look at what is happening around the world in places like Greece I don't see how anyone can say that we shouldn't be prepared for something like that here. I'm a proud co-sponsor of the bill and am hoping to be appointed as one of the 2 house members on the committee. Especially since one of the stated goals is to look at the possibility of Wyoming creating an alternative currency. This committee should recommend to have Wyoming make gold and silver legal tender.

I think this is a beneficial thing they are doing in Wyoming. With the politics of today, it wouldn't hurt to have a plan in place should something go wrong. States have to have their own backs, you can't trust the feds.
