As much as Meris bonks herself, I fully approve. She's 10 months and wants to climb on everything, and I have an entire room covered in cushions/blankets and various barriers.

Not to mention that this solution isn't exactly the best:

My daughter had a perpetual lump in the middle of her forehead from the moment she could get up on her hind legs until she was about five. She was the queen of the faceplant. My son, on the other hand, refused to take a step until he could walk across the room without falling down.

I think they're less stylish. lol. Your boy looks perfectly happy with his silly hat. :-p

I don't think I'd buy one. I had quite a few falls as a child, though never anything resulting in a trip to a hospital.
One of my younger brothers, on the other hand, cracked his skull twice as a toddler. Not so much fun there. I imagine if my mother had thought about it, he would have had a helmet to protect his noggin, accident prone as he was.

I don't think there's anything wrong with it... It just looks kind of silly. Helmets often do. /shrug
