Ouch, he said a monkey running for president was about to pass Ron Paul in the polls.

Oh well, at least he mentioned him! I don't find it very damaging, but not very helpful either, heh.

The IMPORTANT thing to remember here is that Ron Paul is being considered as a candidate....his message will guarantee he'll be around for a while yet. We just have to keep on, keepin on and not get discouraged by a joke.

...when we win.

Look at what is going on in Iraq right now. Will ANYONE doubt Ron Paul is right in Nov 2008?

Just an FYI...I just watched the Colbert Report rerun, and the only reason they mentioned the 'Monkey' was because they had noted that 68% of the GOP's did not believe in Evolution....hence....the MONKEY....

It had no significant inuendo.

It is funny though.

I mean, it could have been worse. Ron Paul could have been lumped in with Brownback, Tancredo and Huckabee as candidates who do NOT believe in evolution. I think the publicity was good. :p

Nov 2008 is irrelevant. The only thing that matters is the nomination.
