He starts off great and with crystal-clear logic. But when he gets to foreign policy and social issues, his argument lapses completely into emotional appeals.

"We've gotta fight the tur'rists over there so we don't have to fight 'em over here!".... "AT LEAST WE HAVE MORAL STANDARDS!!!1!1!1!"

I agree with everything he says, but his foreign policy. On FP, he sounds like a status quo nut job and kook. :)

He sucks because of his progressive foreign policy.

Being "ron paul conservatives?" I'd say ron disagrees with the foreign policy comments in the video

I agree that the foreign policy is not what Ron Paul would want.

I don't want to get rid of Social Security or Medicare I just don't think people can save on their own and would be begging on the streets and protesting. You guys may think that it would work but I doubt it. Do you really want your parents moving in and begging for money from you? In an ideal world we all could save enough money for retirement with no inflation do to sound money but I am not so sure we can get there. Hope we can get closer. We need to end the Fed to get rid of or reduce inflation. The Fed wants about 2 percent inflation per year from what I read in an article.

I just don't believe getting rid of Social Security and Medicare is wise. We do need less inflation so people can save money with or without SS. A smaller government would help us save money because we would be paying less in taxes. Ending the useless wars would help.

My real idea that you may think is crazy is that we should be working on anti aging research that way we could really lower retirement expenses since people may be healthy enough to never need to retire. Once everyone is able to stop aging then we could get rid of SS and Medicare.

Once upon a time, children did actually help their parents in their old age, you know. When my grandma was really old and disabled, she paid my mom to live with and take care of her. People also used to save money for their old age (because it's more than obvious that old age and retirement costs money) The existence of scams like SS and medicare only made things worse.
