Thursday, March 1 is the deadline to apply as a delegate in Nebraska.

You have to be a registered Republican (check your voter status here (https://www.votercheck.necvr.ne.gov/)).

Find your county clerk here (http://www.sos.ne.gov/elec/clerks.html), give them a call and ask them where to apply in person if you want to be a delegate to the county convention.

You MUST apply in person by end of day Thursday, March 1.

It costs nothing and even if you become a delegate, you are not obligated to do anything. If you become a delegate, you have the OPTION to attend your County Convention in June. You don't have to attend any other meetings or give any speeches.

After you file as a candidate, fill out this form here: NEforPaul.com

Let's do this Nebraskans. This is a winnable state, but only if enough people file to be delegates.

And if you've already filed, please still go to http://NEforPaul.com.

If you haven't, go there today because there are meetings you need to know of this week where you can do the delegate paperwork and bring your friends to sign up!

For those that do not understand, Nebraska's primary is NON-BINDING. Similar to Iowa, Minnesota, Colorado, and Maine, Nebraska's Presidential primary on May 15 is non-binding. The only thing that matters is who you vote to elect as delegates to the County Conventions. It is the delegates at the County Conventions who get to play a role in electing delegates to the National Convention.

If you know a supporter in Nebraska, make sure they are a registered Republican and have them fill out this form here: NEforPaul.com

If you live in Lancaster County, make sure you're registered to vote then come to Old Chicago in the Haymarket on Wednesday night at 7:00pm for a last chance delegate sign up opportunity! You can even offer your friends a beer if they'll come sign up. :)

Any Nebraska supporters out there who have questions about filing as a candidate for delegate?

This is one simple task you can do that can yield a huge return for Ron Paul.

Please, those in Nebraska, take a friend, spouse, relative, who may even be remotely interested and have them become a delegate. Tell them they just have to attend a couple meetings, and that's all.

We need as many delegates as we can get, you'll regret not asking that one person who may have gone as a favor for you if you don't ask.
