I think Andrew Napolitano would be a great choice. He has the respect, knowledge, and popularity with mainstream conservatives that Ron needs.

regional. ethnic and religious balance=perfect choice; we not not get the perfect choice if its a brokered convention

Paul/Napolitano '12 would be an amazing third-party ticket. The Judge would win over the hearts of Tea Party conservatives everywhere, and Paul/Napolitano would look like a conservative giant compared to whoever gets the GOP nomination.

You should also view any vice-presidential candidate Ron might favor as a possible successor to Ron in the liberty movement. A lot of people assume Rand, but I'm not convinced.
