Must be somewhat new because of the 2012 sign in the back. he said something along those lines last time.

Kind of a misleading title, he says he's one person he has considered.

I have no idea, but the Judge would be a good choice...not the only choice, of course, but an appropriate and strong choice, imo.

Audio is different...it was edited. I assume he was talking about something else, maybe his favorite judge.

That's why the Judge is moving out of his show?

I did notice the person who asked the question seemed different but I thought possible since he had his own microphone. I don't rule out the possibility though.

Just my opinion but Judge would be better off as..........Judge......on Supreme Court. :) So Judge would be a waste as VP

VP should be someone who could carry the torch of liberty in the years to come & become president after Ron is done! :)

Ron Paul has to win -- Judge Napolitano would bring the Beck-watchers to Ron Paul's side!
The OP video is best darn RP video I've seen (because I love the Judge) -- crying with delight! AWESOME

LAst time he said Walter Williams. This time he did say Napolitano when asked once, but it was just kind of a suggestion.

Bingo...

But I'm suspecting an Indy ticket of Paul/Napolitano because of the way things are currently going for us and the latest polling data that still has Ron in a distant fourth place nationally according to USA Today Gallup.

I like the video -- all candidates have dropped names, but none have made an announcement (because it's not done until after the nominee is chosen).
What's wrong with the video? I think it's wonderful.

All videos have voices "taken out of context" else they would be long, boring and no one would listen.

that is pretty far out there.

The judge has publicly said he doesn't want to be VP, and Ron has 0 intention of running indy. There is absolutely no basis for The Judge Leaving Fox in order to run as a VP.

Ron might run independent is Santorum is the nominee lol If Santorum wins he no way win more than 5 states and that is if he gets lucky.

I'd rather have the judge on SCOTUS, or as Atty. General.

I'd love to see a Paul/Napolitano independent ticket. The judge slammed the GOP pretty hard toward the end of his show's run, so you never know. It's probably unlikely though and the judge is probably better off on scotus.

If Greece defaults followed by Italy and France, the Euro collapses and the contagion spreads to the dollar and/or Obama starts a war with Iran, Paul/Napolitano might get a lot of traction especially if the GOP derps and nominates Santorum.

That traction will have to translate into getting at least 15% support in at least 5 national polls in order to be able to particiate in the Presidential debates if the Paul / Napolitano ticket went third party. I'm not sure what direction the polls would go.

I'm confident that they or even Ron with somebody else could poll the required 15% in the event of financial collapse, war with Iran or Santorum as the nominee. Ron has pulled higher than that now as an indy.

Honestly its a bad decision. The Judge is not going to be viewed as someone people would be comfortable with as President.

It is fine for the minor parties to pick non politicians but it hurts the vote for the big boys.

I personally think Paul needs to pick a General that agrees with him on the issues, to shore up concerns about his foreign policy.

The high likelyhood of the Judge being his VP running mate comes from Ron Paul's mouth right near the end.

Don't know if this has been posted....But Napolitano would be my choice too.

I have heard gossip about this, but anyone know anymore?

http://www.veteranstoday.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/02/ron_paul-and-andrew_napolitano-300x179.jpg

With a giant photo of Paul on the screen behind him, Napolitano said, “Only one man remains faithful to the principles of free market and small government, to the Constitution and to personal freedom, to defending the nation without being the world’s police force. Only one. You know who he is.”

by Joe Kovacs

As a variety of names are now being floated for presidential running mates, Republican candidate Ron Paul says ousted Fox News host Judge Andrew Napolitano might be at the top of his list.
Paul was asked the question about whom he would like on a White House ticket with him at a recent public meeting, and he said, “One time somebody asked me who I’d have to consider and the name Judge Napolitano jumps right out at me.”

While the audience erupted with cheers of approval, Paul continued: “But when you think about the danger of mentioning one or two means you’re not going to mention quite a few others that would certainly be qualified. That’s a great story, you know, the fact that there are a lot of people now that are well-known and well-educated and know the issues and would do a very good job.”

Napolitano’s “Freedom Watch” show was recently canceled by the Fox Business Channel, but during numerous on-air segments, Napolitano had frequent flattering remarks about Paul, while criticizing other presidential hopefuls including former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney and former Pennsylvania Sen. Rick Santorum.

“There is a hunger in the land for a game changer, and Mitt Romney and Rick Santorum are not up to that,” Napolitano said in early January. “There is a need in the country for a government that stays within the confines of the Constitution, or we’ll all end up like the socialists in Europe, and Mitt Romney and Rick Santorum are not up to that. There is a rumbling in the countryside that the government should shrink and live within its means, and Mitt Romney and Rick Santorum are not gonna make that happen.”

With a giant photo of Paul on the screen behind him, Napolitano said, “Only one man remains faithful to the principles of free market and small government, to the Constitution and to personal freedom, to defending the nation without being the world’s police force. Only one. You know who he is.”
Judge Andrew Napolitano examines the concept the government hates and fears the most: Freedom. Read the judge’s new book, “It Is Dangerous to Be Right When the Government Is Wrong.”

On another program this month, Napolitano asked, “What if Ron Paul is being ignored by the media not because, as he claims, he’s unappealing or unelectable, but because he doesn’t fit into the premanufactured, public-opinion mold used by the establishment to pigeon-hole the electorate, and create the so-called narrative that drives media coverage of elections?”

On the same show, the judge noted, “What if Rick Santorum is being embraced by voters who want small government, even though Senator Santorum voted for the Patriot Act, for an expansion of Medicare and for raising the debt ceiling by trillions of dollars? What if Mitt Romney is being embraced by voters who want anyone but Barack Obama, but they don’t realize that Mitt Romney might as well be Barack Obama on everything from warfare to welfare?”

After seeing him on The Daily Show...I'm worried about the judge in a VP slot. He had a very hard time defending and explaining the libertarian message. Perhaps it was just the setting, but he was using really bad arguments and not addressing issues the way they should be.

Oh his own show, where he can bring on who he wants and prep things beforehand, he's great. I worry about him in a debate setting.

I don't I think he is genius in his debates. he is a paid entertainer, that also makes perfect sense. the daily show is a comedy, he fits in and reaches a really braod audience.
If he was the VP he would be all business.
