Was at the Mass Precinct meeting today in Gwinnett County, Georgia. Below are the results of the straw poll during the meeting. (Great turnout!)

Results:
Ron Paul ------ 115
Newt Gingrich -- 73
Rick Santorum - 60
Mitt Romney --- 25

P.S. Newt Gingrich, with support from Herman Cain, held a rally there right afterwards. Even with this rally, we outnumbered Gingrich supporters, it appears.

Gwinnett County Quick Facts:
2010 Census: 805,321 population
Second most-populous county in the state
Mitt Romney won county in 2008.

I think all around Atlanta well today in delegate selection too. Big turnout in my big Atlanta suburban county for us, and looks like we killed it in most every one, getting the vast majority of 20 per precinct.

My buddy up in Athens (UGA), brought out 6 people and filled 7 of the 8 delegate spots (apparently they voted out the lady running it and she was pissed!). Unfortunately though, it turns out he'll be going up for a delegate spot against the Secretary of State Kemp who happens to be in the same district, for the 1 lone spot they're going for. We'll see how that goes at the meeting...

The real battle is begins now to rally behind our own delegates for the next conventions.
