You shouldnt go, there is a subset of people who like this blog. Todays progressives and libertarians do have some common ground. Once the states primaries take off I would imagine Ron Paul will continue to gain ground, and people will look further.

Its a tough road though, both sides are pretty partisan.

I've re-posted your blog a couple of times because I am on a liberal forum trying to talk sense to them.

I would re-think this, keep it up if you like it. Ron Paul is gaining ground now, it should change.

If you do leave, it was fun. Wish you wouldnt.

From you blog:

Regardless, even if Ron Paul went to Tampa Bay with a majority of votes and delegates, the GOP establishment would not allow him to be nominated.
...
This blog has been dedicated not just to getting Ron Paul elected president but also to outlining a number of other creative strategies and policy ideas that can simultaneously advance both libertarian and progressive causes.

In all likelihood, if you don't think you can win, you are not going to. Pessimistic statements like that turnaway voters and give the "bandwagon effect (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bandwagon_effect)" to the other candidates. This is like starting the race 6% behind all the othe candidates.

Since you are an armchair strategist, understand that if you bailed on the primary campaign - and you have (http://progressivesforronpaul.blogspot.com/2012/02/switch-strategy-now.html) - due to the odds, then you will bail on any other effort as well. Please incorporate into your strategy the fact that you will cut bait and run.

I need to clarify something. My title was ambiguous because I am ambivalent about continuing my blog after marking the this the 366th day since my first post. I am not bailing from supporting Ron Paul. I will vote for him in the primary when it's my state's turn. I will not close my blog. I will try to reply to comments but for now I am feeling like I have said about all that I can on my blog. If someone wants to use it in the campaign, they can contact me. I may have more to say later and decide to return to it but for now I am needing to step back from it. I will continue to encourage voting for Paul but I am needing to step back for now from this obsession.

Obsession?

The hell, you say.
