DOVER — Registered Republican voters could have a full slate of presidential candidates to consider when the Delaware primary is held April 24.
Given Delaware’s size and its proximity to other major primary destinations, state Republican Party leader John Sigler expects to see those candidates in Delaware as the primary draws near.
"We are a small state, but I think we’re going to be an important state," he said.

IMO, Delaware 9/12 Patriots really want Santorum though. They are working hard to make it happen too.

9/12 is a big Glenn Beck thing, isn't it? I know he's a huge promoter of it, at least. And he endorsed Santorum and has him on almost daily.
Point: not surprising.

Oh and be sure to stop at the Ron Paul 2012 thread and leave a kind word in his favor. It's a jungle in De, you know...

Yes and he has a huge following in De. Many of the participants here are very loyal. I've bumped heads with them for years. Very difficult group to bring to reason...nicely, that is. Just have to bite my tongue sometimes.

Don't know a whole lot about 9/12. I think groups like that start out with a noble cause, but they get sucked in very easily by Santorum types. It's sad, because the Tea Party and 9/12 groups were supposed to be the enlightened ones who finally woke up to the Republican vs. Democrat nonsense. But, we've all seen how that has turned out.

They certainly are relentlessly selling Santorum as ...get this..."the only alternative to Romney and Gingrich".

Santorum is getting votes because he is the lesser of all the evils. Ron ain't a factor. Let's face facts. With that said, I don't support Santorum but clearly understand how he's getting votes as the last choice.

True. I forgot that this was a three man race between the same, same, and same. Oops, I meant Mitt, Newt, and Rick.

Agreed but Santorum has the strongest record of the three. Too many people are willing to settle because Obama is a disaster.
