Just so you know there hasn't even been an email yet. I think he's doing one per week so it's not so bad. I'd encourage you to reconsider.

Create another e-mail for it? ---> http://www.gmail.com is great

All you're doing is submitting and confirming an e-mail address... nothing more.

I'm liking that chart! I think this will be bigger than the 5th. We are probably seeing people joining now, that felt "left out" after learning about the 5th... or just simply watched it.

People like to be part of success, and they like 2nd chances.

yeah, the mailing list for november 5th was pretty non-intrusive..... and i don't think i've gotten anything at all from this one yet....

I will throw a guess out there. 35,000 subscriptions. assuming twice as many donate, that would put us at 7 million dollars. just enough to beat Hillary's all-time record.

We should have 50,000 subscribers and raise at least $10 million on December 16th. We still have over a month to go and we're almost 20% there!

The Ron Paul fundraising director refuted the record set by Hilary. She received her "record" donations in the week preceding the end of Q2. We officially have the all time 1 day record for this election

If you give the current subscriber growth rate a little room to slow down, then we will be right at around 50,000 for the 16th.

Here's how I see it,
50,000 Subscribed = $5 Mil
25,000 virtual extra people from subscribers giving more than $100 =$2.5 Mil
25,000 Real and virtual people who didn't subscribe = $2.5 Mil

Grand Total is a very doable $10 Million

Falseflagop
11-12-2007, 10:05 PM
we will make 12-15 mil that day so long as the servers can take the ACTION!!

Our locker room material is Glenn Beck, George Stepanolous, Hannity, O'Reilly the more we Raise the MORE notice he will get in IOWA and NH !! As people will continue to ask who is this man!! Love iT!

I agree with llamabread. It has been demonstrated on both Nov 5th and Nov11th, that the funding raised is greater than $100 per pledger. Ron Paul pledges *come through* and there is not a lot of wash-out.

We might need more than 50,000 pledges to get $10M, but there will definately be a "synergy" between those on the list and the lurkers.

My only concern about the 16th is that it may be a little too late to put the money to good use. What are the dates again, the 6th for the first state? That would only be about two and a half weeks, although I guess that would be long enough to make a difference.

If I may be so bold instead of using hotmail or other such items, I truely believe that all citizens concerned with what their government may or may not be recording get an account at HUSH. All the information is in cyber form so their is no record traceable on your computer and the servers are not located in any country that allows searches.

I really think we should donate more than $100 if we can. That will be the day to make history. When you really think about it, and if you believe Ron Paul can win, then its a no-brainer investment to donate as much as you can to RP.

How can we promote this more?

I think the teaparty07 website should make people WANT to sign up - right now to an outsider, there isnt that much there to make you want to sign up.

I don't know what I can swing, but I am going to try to do more than $100. I think there are a lot of people out there who missed out on the last money bomb thinking that RP had no chance. I hope we have reached the critical mass, so that all these fence sitters will hop over onto our side and give some big bucks. Since Dec 16 is within 2 weeks of the end of the quarter and almost the end of the preprimary season, a lot of people will be go all in to max out at $2300. I hate to speculate, but we could go $15 million + if we promote the hell out of this and all try to save an extra $10 or $20 a week for the next month.

Iowa is currently showing Jan 3rd as the date of the primary. As far as I know that is the first primary. I'm sure that at least part of the first money bomb can be used to pay for all the ads in the first few states. Iowa's delegate votes are cut in half though aren't they? Since they moved up their primary? I know it was either Iowa or N.H., and I thought N.H. was first primary.

Edit to add: Oh, and I'm planning on donating at least $234. Hoping I can donate that twice.

Im from Iowa and this very question annoyed the hell out of me.

I think states with primaries have bound delegates while states with caucuses have elected unbound delegates......

Im trying to get it figured out.

Luckily my county GOP chair goes to my church.

much more complex than that, but Ill let ya figure it out.

The largest effective difference is the turnout (primaries have 3x the usual turnout of a caucus).

But the campaign will be able to expect at least $5 million coming in on the 16th, thus allowing them to spend accordingly for the Iowa Caucuses.

I agree on this, especially in my area. I have lost track of the comments I received about this. Now, instead of "Ron who?", they say, "Oh yeah, he's the guy that raised 4 mil in one day."

They still don't know what he stands for. However, many people in my church are aware of him solely because of the November 5th money bomb.(Besides me hammering at them, that is.) My church members make faces when discussing the possibility of the Repub nomination going Rudy, Mitt, or John McCain. More than one person deemed Ron Paul as, "a very interesting candidate."

Shows how much pull I have in my church.:D

I'm predicting 50,000 subscribers this time around, at the least. And from both previous money bombs, it looks like we raise 2.3x what is promised , so that would put us in the ballpark of $12 million. It would be pretty awesome if we raised the Q4 goal in one day.

But we'll see: there's a long way to go before Dec 16th. (and only uphill to go!)
