So I went back and looked at the Restore America now plan versus Obama's new published budget

The basic results

For Ron's budget FY2013 to FY2016

Revenue 11.1T
Outlay 11.6T
Deficit ~500 billion (almost all in first two years)

Obama

Revenue 13.2T
Outlay 15.5T
deficit ~2.3T (4 YEARS)

Difference in outlays/spending Ron Vs OBAMA 3.9T (4 YEARS - ALMOST 1T per year)

Considering the libs are always wrong on revenue projections and spending almost always grows (just compare obama FY2012 to FY2013) also revenue has NEVER been above 2.5T and is basically is estimated at 2.3T this year. Obama's 15.5T outlay is really a deficit of about 5T+

Discussion?

also i found it interesting that federal income tax receipts in Obama's budget grow at average compounded annual rate of 7.5% a year!

I bet I wont get 7.5% salary increases for the next 10 years especially if I have to pay "my fair share"

I suppose there is some argument that the tax base grows (population) so the revenue stream grows but really?

Hmm, anyone knows a good comparison between what obama said the budget would be for the next years, back in 08, 09, 10 and 11 compared with what the actual budget was? I think that would be a good thing to bash him over the head with. He was without a doubt 'mistaken' those past years.

The tax collections (revenues) in Ron's budget also grow by 25% by the end of his plan- going from $2.4 trillion to $3.1 trillion. http://www.ronpaul2012.com/the-issues/ron-paul-plan-to-restore-america/
