This is a huge deal. Now the GOP can't pull garbage shenanigan's and shut down the state convention if our numbers turn out as if we will win like they did in Nevada 2008.

Fantastic. We are winning the hearts and minds of the voters and the state Republicans. This is just great news.

For those obsessed with delegates, every state and territory gets 3 unbound national delegates in Tampa. The state chair, and the national committeeman and woman. I think it's safe to say he's a shoe in RP 'establishment' supporter.

We now have a "superdelegate"

This sounds like a rare case where the outgoing chair managed to outrage the grassroots of both Paul and Santorum.

In politics, you cannot accumulate large voting blocs as enemies, and succeed.

This is why all of the protest voters need to become active GOPers instead of whining.

You didn't like the Stoss and his Stache?? Hmm. Well I was tired of him too and I think Grover is cool.

Not sure why whatshisname would have a Carter avatar, except maybe as a joke

This is great news.

But how? I know I shouldn't be questioning this, but man! How does Ron Paul not win Iowa but the GOP membership elects a Ron Paul supporter (campaign worker, even) to the state chair?

That leads me to believe that people who don't really care or put much effort into politics are electing our leaders. I wanna tell those people:

"Please just stay the hell home so we can win, OMG! You know you don't really care, so leave the important decisions to those who actually know what's going on."

So... Iowa votes for Santorum at the caucus but elects an RP supporters as party chairman?

Does not compute... oh wait, 8 precincts "lost". GG.
