I'll keep this post short because often these contain too much info and folks don't read them. Please use it as a reference for NJ voter information:
New Jersey will hold primary voting on June 5th, 2012.
In NJ you must register as a Republican to vote Republican (Ron Paul) and can change your affiliation by using one of the forms for your county here: http://www.njelections.org/voter-registration-application.html (*Do not believe the chatter that someone registered "Independent" can change at the polling location, those claims are false.)
If you need to find your New Jersey polling place, please use this look up tool: https://voter.njsvrs.com/PublicAccess/servlet/com.saber.publicaccess.control.PublicAccessNavigat ionServlet?USERPROCESS=PollingPlace
You can vote by mail in NJ (for any reason) and can get information on it here: http://www.njelections.org/mail-in_doe.html
PLEASE NOTE: New Jersey law prohibits voters from displaying campaign buttons or campaign clothing, such as hats or t-shirts, in polling places. Polling places are considered "protected zones" beginning from 100-feet outside the entrance of each polling place and extending into the polling room where the voting machine is located.
DEADLINES: Changing party affiliation must be completed 55 days prior to voting (before 4/11/2012). New registrations for first time voters must be completed 21 days prior to the voting (before 5/15/2012). If applying for a mail-in ballot the deadline to apply is 5/29/2012.
