This is why I would like to here commentators address him as Dr. Paul or Dr. Ronald Paul. See the thread I posted earlier. Dr. Ronald E. Paul: So, What's in a name.

The only time I've seen this "RuPaul" reference at other forums is from snarcky anti-Ron posters.

I converted a friend of mine to Ron Paul. He went to convert his Grandmother to RP and she said "you mean the Ru Paul gay guy" and went on a tirade. After she calmed down a bit he was able to explain who Ron Paul is.

The sad but true reality is there are some people who are easily confused and some of them vote so it probably is best to refer to RP as Doctor Paul when talking to people that might be easily confused.

Ya, I've encountered the "Ru Paul" thing too when I first mention him to someone.

Oh well, at least it isn't as bad as Barack Hussein Obama.;)
