You might not even realize... but on godaddy under "my account" you may have some google adwords credits that you can activate and use...

I have activate my $70 worth to use for buying keywords related to issue areas on ronpaul2008.com... for instance.. I have purchased an ad to run when the keywords "ending taxes" or "end taxes" are used... and the destination page for people clicking on the ad is here:

http://www.ronpaul2008.com/issues/debt-and-taxes/

You get the idea... pick some areas that matter to you.. create a small ad and direct traffic to the corresponding issue area on ronpaul2008.com...

I realize it's a drop in the bucket... but I'm not going to use those credits...

what do you think?

Godaddy -> My Account

"Google® and Microsoft® Ad Credits"

It's in the middle of the page with a bunch of other links under the "My Account" header.

I've never used 'adwords' before.. so I'll check it out and go from there..

i have a $25 microsoft AdCenter credit

That works!! $25 seems like it will go quite a long way... especially if we buy "weird" phrases...

I recommend "gun control" "gun license" "second amendment rights" "price of war" "Home Schooling" "home school rights" "blowback" .... you get the idea :)

no other campaign is going to have these words... if we start buying them at $20-$50 at a time... I think we're really going to drive some traffic... and maybe introduce some people who weren't even thinking about politics...

You could also send people to your favorite youtube videos or articles!

If 8 of those 108 people never heard of Ron Paul and 1 of those people makes a donation... this was worth every second :)

How about a chip in to run adwords to "target groups" ie gun rights, home school or other big support groups. Even if these people are not thinking about politics, just seeing the name Ron Paul pop up all the time might seep into their subconscience. Might be a cheap way to make alot of impressions.
