I wish to argue, that we’re all here because we’ve obtained our clarity. Eyes wide open; we march through the fog in search of those still lost. A thick haze so vast, we can smell our own fear with each step we take. It was said, “continuous effort—not strength or intelligence—is the key to unlocking our potential.” We do not have to reveal our strength, or our intelligence, in order to amass into something larger than the thick fog itself. This fog has transpired—grown—for decades. It surrounds our reality, as we peer from the outside in. We are the irate tireless minority, and it’s not intelligence or strength which will unlock our potential. It will be our efforts, our relentless efforts, and our consistent trend of growth that will win us this war of restoration. We’re winning in ways that are often overlooked, and we have much to be thankful for.
I’ve learned one thing myself from this man, and I shall explain. “Appreciation is a wonderful thing: It makes what is excellent in others belong to us as well,” said Voltaire. Think for a moment, how appreciative you are of Ron Paul’s efforts. He does show strength and intelligence, but if it were not for his continuous efforts, many of us would not be here today. If he had taken the path of least resistance, or if he were a lesser man, our eyes would be wide shut. I personally cannot fathom the pain he had to endure, as he watched this countries downward spiral to present. All while being ignored, ridiculed, and mocked . . . he still continued his efforts. In the words of Carol Paul, “he felt he had to do this for his country.” He could have chosen not to do so and where would we be today if he did? What do you consider a noble sacrifice? I think we all know the answer to that question.
I sit and watch this wise and intelligent old man smile during a 4th place finish--in Florida--a state that is mostly consumed in this fog. I’ve never seen such joy before . . . almost as if a burden has been lifted from his shoulders. I see the smile only obtained by massive accomplishment due to continuous effort. I see a man who fought for decades, when we can barely cope with the struggles when in our political infancy. I continuously watch as we remain the underdog, that irate, tireless minority. The question is . . . how frustrated are you truly? How real do you consider the consequences to be? Have you forgotten that Ron Paul’s mission was to inspire and teach?
Be appreciative. Unify under peace—freedom--not divide under discouragement. As the country gets worst, only more people can wake up to the reality of what we have already learned. Ron Paul and our movement, has successfully cornered tyranny. It lunges like a wild animal, as it does not like being cornered. We have succeeded in a way, which only has one possible outcome. That outcome is awaking the entire sleeping giant. We’re in a position of power, a moment where we can win, or we can say “I told you so.” One way is easier, which is what we all really want. Ron Paul could win the presidency, and restore our country. The alternative is the hard way, and we all know we don’t want this. However, the problem of evil is truly a remarkable thing. Evil brings pain, suffering, and fear, but it can also bring the most crucial method of teaching; experience. We fight for our preference, but we already won the war. That is of course, assuming you will always fight for freedom, your Liberty.
