I want to encourage anyone who is on Facebook to "like" the "In Case You Missed It RSS Feed." I've found this to be an easy way to get people talking about what's going on that they wouldn't get from the mainstream media. I often share 2-3 items a day, and regularly get conversation about it from all sorts of viewpoints. We are often concerned with trying to get eyes off of the TV, but here is good alternative to actually make that happen.
Just today, I shared a chart posted there regarding military spending in perspective. That jumped into conversations with big-military friends. What wasn't questioned is the use of this tool, and possible acceptance of its authority as a news source.
Whoever does the work is doing a great service, yet there are far, far too few signed up.
