In Oklahoma, you MUST be a registered Republican to vote for Ron Paul in the March 6 primary.

The deadline to register to vote and to re-register as a Republican is Friday, February 10.

Check your voter registration status by calling your county's Election Board (contact info here (http://www.ok.gov/elections/documents/cebinfo.pdf)).

Register to vote or re-register as a Republican using this voter registration form here (http://www.ok.gov/elections/documents/vrform.pdf).

You can register to vote in person at your county's Election Board or mail the voter registration form. If you mail the form, it MUST have a postmark of February 10 or earlier.

Another important date is the precinct and delegate meetings for your county. Some major ones have already passed but my county is February 18th!

Awesome! Thank you!!! My sister is re-registering from democrat to republican as we speak.

Sucks we have to mail in a paper form in OK. My brother is re-registering in KS which is quick and easy online.

If I personally knew some Democrats, I'd let them know a.s.a.p.

If she is mailing in the voter registration form, know that it MUST have a postmark of February 10. You might want to get her to go to the post office and ask them to postmark it with that date.

TODAY, Friday, is the last day to register as a Republican in Oklahoma.

If you still need to register, please register IN PERSON at your county's Election Board or take the form to your post office and mail it (make sure they postmark your letter with today's date, February 10).

Can anyone verify that Oklahoma is NOT a state that allows a 17-year old who will turn 18 before the general election to vote in the primary?

There's contact info for County Election Boards in the op. Give a couple of them a call to verify.

The voter registration card says you must be 18 on or before the date of the next election in order to vote. So I would say no. I'd call your county election office to confirm though.

Some states refer to the "next election" as the next general election, but, yes, please call and confirm.

I registered today. If you register at a tag agency, the County Election Board in Pontotoc County, told me it would be marked as received today. It must either be marked as received today or postmarked today. Not much time left so if you need to register "Git Er Dun."
