View Full Version : Lots of empty seats with about an hour to go?

In one camera zoom, almost half of stand looked empty. If NBC is showing in real time, this looks unusual compared to past super bowls or anyone can correct me?

If attendance is shrinking, could intrusive checks like these be the reason?

That probably doesn't help, but so does the fact that real fans don't really get to go.

why would you be in your seat an hour ahead of time?

An hour in advance you are either paying $25 to get into the parking lot or $50 at the concession stand.

I think the price of the tickets have a lot to do with it. Upper stands the tickets are like $2300 and up.

Because it's super bowl.
I could be wrong but that's now how I remember some past games.

More seats look filled now. Perhaps check in is taking a lot more time now understandably.
