Christ...i dont even think Adelson's caucus will matter at this point, Gingrich's lead seems to be getting larger as well as Santorum gaining more and Ron pretty much stagnant now. So disappointing, really thought he would have second here.

Calm down. Less than 20% of reporting is in and Newt and Ron Paul have only a 5% difference. Santorum is way behind.

Lets face it friends. There is no way this was a fairly conducted election. From the "jewish only" caucus to the late reporting of clark county, we are now concurrently in the midst of a stalinesque scam of the most epic proportions. Do you REALLY think the GOP was going to let Ron beat Newt? Aside from the fact that the older generations IE the baby boomers, are essentially voting themselves a paycheck, we are battling multiple fronts who are deploying every possible tactic known to man. Look at what happened to Pat Buchanan in 96- this is history repeating. I love Ron. I would take multiple bullets and die for him. The TRUTH is, we put our message out there and either the American people don't want peace, sound money, and honest government, OR they just don't understand the message and are voting at their own peril. We should go 3rd party just to get our message out on the national stage, and SINK THE GOP. We gotta draw the line somewhere.

we should go third party but let's keep this in this perspective. the strict constitutionalist approach was absent from politics since Goldwater ran in the 60s. Fifty friggin years! Ron Paul and this new generation of American Patriots brought it back. 2008 a new voice was heard. 2012 a serious player though not quite enough to complete the revolution. 2016 with Rand, we take back the country. I'm still holding out hope something may spark us this election, but if it doesnt I'm still thrilled that the constitution has made a comeback after being in the desert for fifty years. At the end of the day we must understand that we are not a sound bite philosophy but rather a deep intellectual philosophy of man, economics and liberty. The message may need more time to germinate

However, I cannot tell you how incredibly inept they are to have claimed, arrogantly, that they would be at the fore of the digital revolution by "being the first" to report all these results and then, apparently, leaking them to CNN and the AP and FOX before they ever put them online.

That left those of us watching the NV GOP website and twitter truly disappointed.

Quite a few precincts... early in the day, most of the twittered results were from Clark. We were ahead of Newt in quite a few of them, even in just as many, and behind in only a small number.

Given all that, I have reason to think we can get close to catching him in Clark.

We need to keep in mind that normally, once 43% is reported, the results don't really change much but that's because the remaining votes aren't all coming from one county. Normally the remaining votes are more evenly distributed across the state where the 43% already came from, so the trend doesn't change.

If turnout is around 35000 total, meaning 18000 or so outstanding votes to be counted, and we get over 23% and Newt gets below 17% of those remaining Clark votes, we essentially catch him and win 2nd in Nevada.

NG 4228 + 5540 = 9768

We never have lived in a Democracy. This is a Republic, there is a difference.

Personally, these BS losses are starting to grate on me. I was really expecting a solid second place win, and we arent even going to break 20% with a third place win. Its really starting to become too much. Granted it is only a caucus, but still its not much of a momentum builder when you are losing to the Grinch like this. Its ridiculous!

Word police-relax.
