On a side note, I am disappointed to always see such low youth voter turnout. And it's not just a NV thing, it seemed low in FL, SC... Why don't young people vote?

I suppose part of the reason is retirees are never busy.

Important driving things in a young person's life: partying, socializing, getting laid, shopping, hanging with friends, meeting guys/girls, looking cool, music, etc.

Politics, the economy, voting, and such...not so high on the priority list. Man, I miss being young.

Only 5 percent of those who wanted a "true conservative" voted Romney. The rest broke Paul 45, Gingrich 31, Santorum 19. #nvcaucus

CNN is showing this and the Audit the Fed stuff went out perfectly. I am amazed, CNN didn't have to show this. They seem to be showing the whole thing.

I think they thought he would be announcing his win or something, but really that comes later.

One thing I didn't like is Romney is in Colorado and they showed that but when they talked about Ron it was on the screen "Ron Paul in Minnesota, not Nevada" - they didn't do that for Romney.

Ron looks good, healthy and actually better rested than the others. Santorum lost his voice, and Romney looks like he has been up for 40 hours straight.

CNN looks to me to be trying to make the crowd smaller than it really is. anyone else notice the weirdness of when they cut to the audience?

they cut him off when he starts talking foreign policy. They end precisely at wanting to open trade with Cuba.

Well played CNN.

I love Ron. I want him to take a second at the end of his speeches and say..."Look. At the end of the day, do we want the same spending and wars and weak economy? Of course we don't. We want a sound economy with sound money. We want a nation where we're not in superficial fear of 3rd world countries and our kids fighting senseless wars. We want a nation where our kids have a chance and aren't strapped with mountains of debt. If this is we want we want, then I am your candidate for the next President of the United States! "

Well played CNN.They really screwed up, they were in their control booth arguing over how to cut him off and probably said that "those Ron Paul supporters will flood our e-mails if we do", so they let it run for a while longer.

All the end the Fed stuff came out and the constitutional reasons for it, and a bunch of other "makes sense" stuff came out so it was really a eye opener for some people I bet.

They just said that there will be another late caucus at 7PM and that might get people out and off their couch to go over, since it's so damn close, just a few votes could make a big difference at 7 PM !

TEXT MESSAGE AND CALL YOUR FRIENDS!

Doors open at 6pm and caucus starts at 7pm.

AMAZING SPEECH.
The guy actually speaks ad hoc about real problems, with substantive solutions, with NO teleprompter. The man is a national treasure.

I still have to question the timing of the speech so early, even ahead of the meat of the election night coverage. Why? Fox News and Fox Business news haven't even posted ANY results yet, saying votes coming in soon. It's like starting the speech before everyone has reached their seat.
