View Full Version : Ron Paul Republican running for Congress (FL-18th district)...needs help getting petitions

I've got a Ron Paul Republican friend (who's also a military veteran) running for Congress (FL-18th district) against Ileana Ros-Lehtinen (a big government incumbent who voted for bailouts, increase in debt limit, wars, NDAA, Patriot Act, etc). I've done most of my precinct walking with him, we have spent countless hours visiting registered, Republicans, knocking on their doors and talking to them about Ron Paul. He needs 2,300 petitions/signatures to get on the ballot. If you are a Florida voter, know a Florida voter, or can contact a Florida voter can you help him out? Because of the redistricting any Florida voter can fill out a petition for him. Here's a speech he made.

How do I get forms and turn them in? I already signed one myself for him but I will help out. As a side note Marcus is a great guy and we should all be helping him out.

Guys, Marcus informed me that only a few folks mailed him a petition so far....I've got about 25 people on RPF and Facebook who offered to help him out.

Please help out this liberty candidate and give the constituents of FL-District 18 another choice. Ros-Lehtinen should not get a free pass for all the bad bills she has voted for. Don't you all think she deserves a primary challenger?

He dropped out...he didn't gather enough signatures. He told me had about half the number he needed...took him about 8 months to get them... So he would have had to come up with hundreds more signatures in less than 2 months.
