we believe he sells secondhand mattresses on 6th Avenue, though we seem to also remember he co-owns a Your Name on a Grain of Rice kiosk at a Long Island shopping mall

This was escalated by the inappropriate actions of a campaign employee that attacked Trump:

I asked Paul's spokesperson Jesse Benton for a response to the comments. Here it is:
If Trump wants to be taken seriously by Republicans, he needs to quit Celebrity Apprentice and apologize to the Iowa GOP. If he gets his act together, President Paul might consider getting his advice on fixing our countries (sic) financial situation. We understand Donald has a lot of experience with bankruptcy.

I nearly threw myself on the floor in a fit of hysteria when Benton released that bomb! Stole the words right out of my mouth!

Point of clarification: In this particular case, I'm not even disagreeing with what he said. I'm just saying that the action certainly escalated an already undesirable situation.

But is it really undesirable? Besides the fact that I personally find it wildly hilarious, it's actually not a bad thing to be anti-Trump. Poll came out today saying more people would vote against his endorsement than would vote for someone who got it. And it draws us attention we might not otherwise get too.
