It's important to remember that on on this forum everyone is completely anonymous.

This is the crucible where many of the grassroots' most important efforts are being forged and those we are surrounded by could be, for all we know, anyone in the entire world.

They could be 13 years old. They could have gotten a 13 on their SAT. They could be taking 13 different mind-numbing pain medications.

They could be the narrow minded jerk that you can't stand at the place you work. They could be the guy who loaded down the roof of his Ford Escort with 1500 lbs of plywood.

Maybe they never used the internet until the day they signed up at this forum.

We do not want to think poorly of our fellow Ron Paul supporters, because we want to think that they are all wonderful people.

However, in this our most crucial effort, we cannot afford to let the masses determine our policy with their shouting... but only with their reasonable voices.

Remember, 'equal rights' does not mean 'equally right'.

Well said.

Although some cry "we must be leaders, not followers", try running an army with 10,000 generals and 2 privates.

Sometimes, (usually when a small, vocal minority screams in rebellion) follow-ship is to be valued much higher than leadership.

A true leader knows how to follow, when it is required for the cause.

A word to the wise is sufficient.

Here's one heavily medicated 13 year old retard that agrees with you.

I'm not sure what the original post means, but I see this forum as an exchange for ideas where the strongest ideas gain momentum and the others fade away.

This is actually the strength of a decentralized grass roots campaign. Sometimes the shouters shout nonsense and other times they kick start the growth of a good idea that almost slid by the wayside.

Maybe Brian could be more specific so we know what he is truly concerned about.
Curious now...

I'd also like to add that our dissension in a way makes us strong. We cannot be cut down if a "leader" is corrupted and trolls/provocateurs cannot drive a wedge in a group where there is no consensus. The only place we all see eye to eye on is the next president should be Ron Paul.

Other then the basement of a burning building you will find few places that have managed to stay as coordinated in the face of such diversity.
