Great speech from Ron Paul here after the voting results in Florida where he had 0 campaign staff.
During the speech ron had mentioned a statistic i assume from CNN saying he is still 3rd in delegates. Right at the same time he mentioned this MSNBC put up a statistic putting Paul in 4th in delegates.I would just mention that both are wrong because Iowa delegates are soft delegates meaning they can switch at anytime.

Just in case you'd like a more straight forward presentation WITHOUT ALL THE ANNOYING GRAPHICS, you might want to check out the video from ABC News.

Plus, you get to see more of the lovely Carol at the beginning. :)

Did anyone watch his speech on CNN?? I watched it and do not remember him saying half of that...notably the bit about other empires falling the same way. Either i'm coming down with Alzheimers or CNN did some selective editing.

Glad I got to listen to this. The crowd was so loud you could hardly hear him finish a sentence. The place was packed!

The worst is indeed over. Ron is obviously being talked to from his advisor, I am glad about that too. I enjoyed his speech and his fighting spirit.

Arizona and Virginia are key primary states IMO. I don't see how Ron can win if he doesn't do well in these states before the primaries move to winner take all. Arizona is FEB 28th and Virginia is March 6th. We'll know where we stand right then and there...

OMG did you hear them???

GOP nomination or not, this thing does not end.

Independent run or national write-in campaign.

One way or the other.

Gary Johnson is running as the libertarian so I think it would be wise for us to vote for him in the general, if Paul doesn't win the nomination.

Paul showed all the vigor tonight of a wise runner who has conserved his energy during the first phase of a race, and is now ready to turn on second stage ignition. The crowd appear to smell it too, as in "let Mitt have his expensive victory, and first lap lead, because now the race really begins!"

Let us remember it is Romney who has burned through about $25 MILLION to secure just a fraction of the first 5% of delegates---at this rate, he'll have to spend half a billion to get the majority of the delegates. Paul is set to on a path to get over 500 delegates, or more, without spending anywhere near that kind of money.

No one but Paul man. We can vote Gary Johnson and help him get 1-2% in the general or we help Ron Paul. Your choice.
