When I'm doing my own local promotion of the ideas Ron Paul supports (and naturally, in conjunction, his candidacy for president) I remain steadfast in my motivation for this 2012 election because I fully believe that the world will never see another Ron Paul again.

I make this point and most people are quick enough to agree to it, but I don't know that they necessary understand the rarity of a politician like Paul. Others will hear this point and think they are preserving an admirable amount of skepticism by saying "Well, there was also Ralph Nader and Ross Perot who were a lot like how Paul is now"--but of course those of us who understand Paul's policies and ideas know that there are worlds of difference between Paul and Nader/Perot.

I got to thinking: it is not emphasized nearly enough that won't be another Ron Paul, and that the opportunity is now or never.

There are some great youtube videos about Paul's predictions from 2002, and of some of his more recent passionate congressional speeches. But there are far too few videos that summarize Paul's consistency over a period of decades on his views.

Here is a video of Ron Paul making an inspiring speech to congress from 1999 that asserts problems that still exist today--US going to war under President Clinton's mandate without constitutional congressional approval (and the irony of congress funding these wars at Clinton's request; Paul says something to the effect of: "Bill Clinton came to congress asking for $6 billion, and in our infinite wisdom, we gave him $13 billion...even though he never followed the constitution in asking congress to go to war in the first place.")

Here is a video with clips from 1988 in which Paul was supporting his same stance against the war on drugs that he holds now, in the face of a mob-mentality crowd and a host who horrible things about Paul to his face on the program. Paul was defiant then against all odds, and its inspiring to see that his message is finally resonating 24 years later. He makes an impassioned plea against the tyranny of the police-state that is hard to ignore.

Finally, here is an eye-opening documentary from the Mises Institute exposing the looming flaws of the Federal Reserve that briefly features Ron Paul's analysis. This documentary is devastating to supporters of the Fed and exposes corruption on a number of levels from an historical vantage point.

We will never see another politician like Paul and its important to acknowledge that Paul didn't just come out of nowhere in 2008. Paul has been fighting by his lonesome for decades, staying true to his beliefs no matter who is in the white house and no matter what ideas are currently mainstream in the US.

Listen to what Ron Paul says as he thanks supporters the night before the SC primary vote. "Some people give me a lot of credit energizing people. But the truth is, especially with young people, when I see your energy and interest and willingness to study the issues and understand and know what freedom really means--that energizes me. I stopped by to say thank you."

There is no "future" Ron Paul. There was never a "past" candidate similar to Ron Paul. This is the one and only opportunity for the message to win, and it took Ron Paul 76 years of life to get to the point where it has a viable chance. Please don't delude yourself into thinking that any of the politicians or businesspeople or pundits will ever be able to replicate what Paul has done for the message. Please know that our opportunity is here and that it is running out. NOBP.

All of this, verbatim, needs to be on NOPB so that we can share!
