I have caught the fever. I have never voted for a Republican or Democrat for President, but that is about to change. There is an honest candidate running and his campaign is gaining momentum.

Ron Paul (R-Tx) is running for President in 2008. Here is his official Website:
http://www.ronpaul2008.com/
Watch his Donations go above $8 Million this quarter. And they are all from everyday citizens, because he doesn't accept money from Lobbyists and Special Interests.

Just to gauge it, Giuliani only raised $10 Million last quarter. Ron Paul is gaining because of ONE day donation Record Breakers like this:

Paul broke ALL candidate ONE day records including those of Hillary, Giuliani, and Romney. His $4.3 Million day with an average donation of $103 shows that he is a contender, and is one of the few Increasing members of the Republican party and giving Hope back to the People.

Ron Paul on the Issues, does he line up with you (He has had these positions for around 30 years now, so you know he is not pandering)?

He has never voted to Raise Taxes or for an Unbalanced Budget
He has never voted to Increase the Power of the Executive Branch
He has never voted for a Congressional Pay raise
He returns a portion of his Cong. Office Budget to the Treasury every year
He has 20 years experience in Congress
He is a Veteran, who wants to strengthen our Military by reducing our wasteful Occupation of Free and Democratic countries around the world.

He voted Against the Iraq War
(He voted For going after the Terrorists who attacked us)
He is the only candidate who will bring our troops home before 2013
(70% of Americans agree)
He will protect the rights of ALL individuals
(He voted Against the Patriot Act and Real ID)
He will protect your right to a Fair Trial
(He will restore respect for Habeas Corpus)
He will protect the Environment by Protecting Private Property rights
(Companies should not be allowed to pollute the land, air, or water of their
neighbors)
He will keep the Internet Free and Unregulated
He will Promote Legal Immigration and Stop Illegal Immigration
(Enforce the law, remove the incentives, then make legal immigration easier)
He is personally Pro-Life, but would not allow the Fed Govt to make laws for or against Abortion
(States have this power according to the Constitution)
He would not allow the Fed Govt to make laws for or against Marriage restrictions
(States have this power according to the Constitution)
He believes the Constitution is there to Protect the Citizens from the Fed. Govt

Las Vegas Odds makers put him tied in 3rd place to win the Election:

Following this weekend's Republican debate in Iowa and some extensive mainstream coverage and sound bytes., 2008 US Presidential candidate Ron Paul's odds to become the next Commander-in-Chief have been slashed further from 15 to 1 to 8 to 1.
Amazingly, he was listed with the same odds (8 to 1) as Mitt Romney, who is widely considered to be among the front runners in the Republican party.
John McCain's odds remained at 5 to 1. Rudy Giuliani remained at 3 to 1 odds.

If you catch the fever, too, then pass this on to your friends.
Help Ron Paul break ONE day fundraising records again as he Celebrates the Boston Tea Party on December 16th:
http://www.teaparty07.com/
If 100,000 people donate only $100 each, he will get $10 million in one day.

Watch him speak for himself on youtube, this is my saved videos:

Thanks for your time,
Jeff

Good work.
Tough, ain't it? I'm composing a letter for a similar purpose. One of the harder letters I've ever sent. Please let us know when you've sent it and how you felt afterwards, especially after you've received some response: relieved, anxious, etc.
Good luck with the family and friends. They should be the easiest group to share your convictions with, but I understand that they are not.
