The Boise State student group “Students for Liberty,” along with grassroots supporters of Ron Paul, host “Blue Republicans and the End of Left v. Right,” 7 to 9 p.m., Saturday, at the Boise State Student Union Jordan Ballroom.
The keynote speaker is Robin Koerner, founder of the “Blue Republican” movement.
What is a “Blue Republican," you ask?
People who have never registered for the GOP, but are doing so now to ensure that Ron Paul wins the Republican nomination for president in 2012. More about Koerner: He is a British permanent resident of the U.S., founder and publisher of WatchingAmerica.com, an organization of 400 volunteers that is dedicated to translating and posting in English news and views about the USA from all over the world.
He holds degrees in physics and philosophy from Cambridge University (UK), has lived on three continents, and has experience in the fields of real estate, teaching and the media.
