Thank heavens for Forefox and Ad-block. The pictures of Hannity and the other real people there are gone from my PC forever.

would you support a GOP ticket with huck/paul (huck being the president). It's a resounding NO on their part, much like it would be on ours.

They're discussing a Huckabee/Paul ticket. Most people preferring Paul as the president, but the members with over 20,000 posts thinking Paul is a "coward" for standing for what he believes in rather than doing what the polls or the Republican base suggest.

I found it interesting that they were even giving him the time of day.

someone there said this and I agree:

"It seems unlikely that Huckabee would ask Paul, Paul would accept, and even more unlikely that Paul supporters would get behind it."

Ron Paul would not run with a big government person who supports the war on drugs and the war in Iraq.

Where do they get this notion that since we defeated Germany and Japan, and imposed democracy on them, we can somehow do that to the entire middle east? Their culture is not ready for it, and they are not 1st world countries either. If they really wanted democracy, they would have a revolution and overthrow their dictators. All most of them want is an Islamic government.

I don't think Paul would accept a VP nomination. He's in his 70s, so it wouldn't be a way to be groomed for the presidency, and he'd be doing less for the movement than he does in Congress.

If Ron Paul doesn't get the Republican nomination then he will have the most influence in Congress. The press and money raised for his Presidential run will bring many to his side in the House that may have been afraid to take up his positions in the past. When Ron Paul speaks, people will be listening now.

these posts are suprisingly civil. i did not witness any of the ron paulbot* action over there, but they certainly seemed to think, in general, that having the doctor on a ticket would not be the end of the world, which is better than i had expected.
