View Full Version : Ron had the best one-liners tonight

"Send some politicians to the moon."

"I challenge you all to a 25 mile bike ride in the Texas heat."

"There are no jihadists under the bed."

"I think they're all wrong."

In my opinion, it was one of his best debate performances all year. Also, the way he went after Newt "I looked at the record, and you're wrong" was epic. He did great.

For sure, he didn't stumble like he usually does either, the bit about his one page of medical records was good too.

Didnt watch the debate but this is what has to happen.

Ron Paul is the only real conservative on stage. Newt responds to everything by lying. "No I didnt". And he needs to be called out on it by the only person who has an actual conservative record.

When asked what he would say on the phone to Raul Castro, he answered "I'd ask him why he called, first".

He ALWAYS does. Newt has good ones, but Ron's are better.

Even CNN was giving him props in post-debate coverage. Good night overall.

Agreed. I doubt he or any of his staff got inspiration from this forum, but he really did extremely well tonight. He had the one liners and he followed them up with the same principled positions that won us all over.

The one liner sets the hook, the explanation reels them in. I'm glad to see this.

Yeah Great debate by Ron. Sadly the msm decides who won it.

"It's one page long" that was my favorite.
