A friend sent me this yesterday... I think we may have a new wave of Dems who we can recruit.

"I had a brainstorm yesterday (partly cloudy, 20% chance of
precipitation): you know how several states, including Florida, have
been punished for violating party diktat not to make their primaries
earlier than a certain date. The Dems are not counting primary votes
from these states, including Florida, never mind how bloody much the
Dems professed to make every vote in Florida count in 2000! But I
digress...

The GOP has punished these states, but only by cutting the number of
delegates from those states in half or perhaps more. But they still
have a vote.

So, if you're a Dem and got abandoned by your own party, why not go
GOP and vote for, say, a candidate who has consistently opposed the
war and stood for personal liberties, and is not a slave to the "you
scratch my back and I'll scratch yours" way of doing things in the
Beltway. Even if they don't vote for Paul in November, let's get some
real choices out there on the ballot.

Just a thought I had to get more votes for Paul. If you think it's
worthy, could you pass it on to folks? You seem to be connected to
Paul initiatives. And we need to hurry to get people switched as
well--deadlines are coming up for Party affiliation."

The gist is that Florida supporters should encourage Democrats to switch party so their votes can count for something? Sweet!
