Does that mean we have to win 5 states or have the majority of delegates from 5 state conventions? The former will be harder than the latter.

Neither. It means we must carry a plurality of available delegates in a given state or territory. We may have that in Iowa, depending on how that goes and who's still in it. I can think of a few other states where it can happen.

A plurality is not necessarily a majority.
