Does anyone know if we have the required signatures to get Ron Paul onto the state ballot? If not, how many signatures do we need?

Thanks.

For those who may be curious, I managed to find the answer:

Yes, he is on the West Virginia ballot. He has been since 1/24/12. As of this time, Rick Santorum is not.

Ron Paul will be on the "Beauty Contest" Ballot. See the link below.

West Virginia (this year) is doing a direct election of delegates to the RNC convention in Tampa. When you vote, you vote first for the meaningless beauty contest and also directly for delegates. We need 18 at-large candidates and 3 candidates per congressional district to run a full slate of delegates.

In theory, a candidate could win the beauty contest vote and not win any delegates! The reverse is also true. A candidate could come in last and still have several delegates elected for the convention.

The deadline for registering for the ballot is Saturday, January 28th.

Thank you for the response. My county (Harrison) should have 3 on its ballot, but if there is not by tomorrow I will likely register. I am unable to campaign much for myself outside of my county, so an at-large run would likely do no good for me.
