This past weekend, we got Nassim Taleb's endorsement (http://www.ibtimes.com/articles/286025/20120123/ron-paul-2012-gets-endorsement-nassim-taleb.htm), which brought us lots of good press and the campaign blog (http://www.ronpaul2012.com/2012/01/23/nassim-taleb-the-only-candidate-i-trust-is-ron-paul/) picked up on it as well. We can totally make this meme go viral and have influential writers, thinkers, and academics from various fields come out on the record and say: "The only one I trust is Ron Paul."

I think there are LOTS of notable people in the background who are sympathetic to our message and just need to be nudged gently. We can make this a distributed grassroots effort and turn this into a massive campaign. Here's how it might work:

1) We all contact prominent people whom we think might be sympathetic to our message and pitch them to make an endorsement. Use their Facebook page, Twitter, email them, comment on their articles, whatever it takes to get their attention. With Taleb, this is the pitch we used which can easily become a template: "I'm really curious to know what you think of the candidates, especially Ron Paul. You have lots of fans among his supporters!!!"

2) Once they come out with an endorsement, we publicize it as widely as possible: email journalists, post it to forums, etc. With Taleb, it only took a day for a bunch of news sites to pick it up as well as the campaign blog.

EVERYONE should get in on this project. Contact notables with libertarian leanings, anti-war folks, basically anyone who might agree with Ron Paul's message, in whole or in part. If only 100 of us pitch 10 influential people per day for 10 days, that's 10,000 people contacted. There's so much potential in this project!!! Spread the word!

I don't always trust politicians, but when I do, it's Ron Paul.
