View Full Version : Tim Thomas boycotts White House visit after winning Stanley Cup,..

His statement is epic and its made news headlines everywhere:

"I believe the Federal government has grown out of control, threatening the Rights, Liberties, and Property of the People.
This is being done at the Executive, Legislative, and Judicial level. This is in direct opposition to the Constitution and the Founding Fathers vision for the Federal government.

Because I believe this, today I exercised my right as a Free Citizen, and did not visit the White House. This was not about politics or party, as in my opinion both parties are responsible for the situation we are in as a country. This was about a choice I had to make as an INDIVIDUAL.

This is the only public statement I will be making on this topic. TT"

I saw that on ZH (http://www.zerohedge.com/news/boston-bruins-goaltender-releases-statement-explaining-absence-obama-meeting). Great statement.

Did you see the pic of that grinning man-child fool Obama? He's an embarrassment.

The liberal chimpanzees are ripping Thomas apart at Hockey's Future:

Sport boards usually lean heavily liberal, especially baseball because it's so big on the left coasts.

I lurk on those boards once in a while, there are a lot of people over there that hate the Bruins and for good measure, but will just use this as a reason to give the Bruins more s***.

I think Brad Marchand has really hurt his reputation of late, especially with that undercut of Sami Salo which was completely unnecessary. So I'm kind of on the fence in terms of respecting the Bruins, as a devils fan. :) But this Thomas protest is very admirable.

Not sure if this was already posted, but good stuff.

"Bruins goaltender Tim Thomas released the following statement Monday evening regarding his absence from the Bruins' visit to the White House this afternoon:"

"I believe the Federal government has grown out of control, threatening the Rights, Liberties, and Property of the People. This is being done at the Executive, Legislative, and Judicial level. This is in direct opposition to the Costitution and the Founding Fathers vision for the Federal government. Because I believe this, today I exercised my right as a Free Citizen, and did not visit the White House. So does that make him any less of a conservative? I love RP, but i also will listen to Beck on the radio sometimes. I have nothing against GB, i dont always agree with him and think hes nuts sometmes. But 60% of the time i agree with him. I hate that so many people on RP forums have this conservative "Test" where if you absolutly dont hate glen beck or fox news, your somehow not a conservative.

No, it doesn't make him any less of a conservative. Of course not. It's just that GB hasn't really been a friend to Ron, and for that reason, most Paul supporters distrust GB as much as any other MSM pundit. So I'm just saying it makes it unclear whether or not he supports Ron Paul. As Schiff_FTW put it earlier in this thread, this liberty comment notwithstanding, he could support "tea party maverick, Newt Gingrich" for all I know.

Chara's got his back.

i'm hoping Ozzie Alonso goes honey-badger on the president when the Sounders visit if the war with Cuba hasn't ended. (Alonso's a cuban defector with immense energy and talent in the midfield. last summer his grandfather was allowed to visit Seattle and watch him play for the first time in years because he was over 65 yrs old)

Glenn is an Alex Jones wanna be. If Glenn was authentic, he would stop saying stupid shit like 'Teh CZARZ OF RUSHA MADEZ UP THE ELDARZ UV TEH ZION TO GIVE HIM AN OFFISHUL ENEMY TO FIGHT!!!' when that is complete bs. All Glenn does is shill for the Israeli Lobby. Why doesn't he ever call out Kristol? WHy doesn't he ever call out Prescott Bush and his involvement with Hitler? Why doesn't he ever call out Brzezinski and his blatant obsessions with global dystopia and mass cullings? Why doesn't he ever talk about how America has been hijacked by elites and the Israeli Lobby who force us to fight their bs proxy wars for them, in the name of goyim depopulation and how every other Semite is considered 'inferior' to them. Why doesn't he ever talk about the Talmudic filth that many of them actually believe and why some of them are pure psychopaths?

Yes, Glenn has talked about the CFR, Rockefeller, George Soros, blah blah, and all his goofy chalkboard stunts on FoX and GBTV, but he doesnt talk about the ROOTS of it all going back hundreds of years and what the primary goal has always been. He doesn't point the finger at just WHERE and WHO it began with, because he is too afraid of the backlash. This just makes him nothing more than a coward, and he has to be the phoniest libertarian there ever was.

I just wanted to say thankyou to everyone for all the support I've received from the people that really matter.

Here's a couple quotes to ponder:

"Without debate, without criticism, no administration and country can succeed. And no Republic can survive."
John F. Kennedy

"Let it not be said that no one cared, that no one objected once it's realized that our liberties and wealth are in jeopardy."
Ron Paul

Mr Thomas Quoted Ron Paul and JFK and i must say they are good quotes.
