It means positive / negative by %, assuming negatives are higher given the OP enthusiasm

Im abit thick, what does 29/56 27/60 mean?29% of polled find Romney "favorable" while 56% find him "unfavorable". Sometimes this is reported as net 27 unfavorable for Romney, net 33 unfavorable for Gingrich.

The last time they polled MN in May, Romney was 29/53 and Gingrich was 17/65.

These numbers and the numbers reported in the OP are the results of all respondents (Republicans, Democrats and Independents). These are not the results of likely Republican caucus voters.

It seems as though people don't even like these pricks but when asked who they will vote they are just settling. "Well I guess I would vote..."

If only they would truly understand that there is no need for compromise.

These are all voters involved spread out according to registration per state, not just Republicans. It's not relevant information per primaries/caucuses. Not even in the open ones because the majority that will participate will be Republicans and that is where they are getting their 29 and 27 favorables. The high unfavorables are relevant for national purposes when matched up against Barack.

I'm not sure how anyone could like Newt Gingrich. If I met him I think I might have to punch him in the face.

Not sure who I'd prefer to punch, Gingrich or Santorum...

guess you haven't been watching the debates bro.

He supports bank bailouts, huge federal aid, national healthcare mandate, was a key vote in many federal departments, but he is a master debater and that's all I care about. I am a conservative tea party member:)
