There's another thread. Iranian press is usually pretty good, but I'd like a more Western source.

The Civil War has been going on for a couple of Months, but we know how western fasco-corporate Main Stream Media has censored the information. It has been getting worse. Now that Qaddafi is gone, the Oil thirsty countries need a new excuse to intervene.

Gaddafi loyalists attack Libyan town

AP
Forces loyal to Libya's late leader Muammar Gaddafi have attacked the former regime stronghold of Bani Walid, killing at least four revolutionary fighters.
The fierce clashes in the town, located some 140km southeast of Tripoli, comes as Libya's new leaders struggle to stamp out lingering resistance from pro-Gaddafi forces and unify a deeply fractured country after eight months of civil war and more than 40 years of authoritarian rule.
Mahmoud al-Warfali, a spokesman for revolutionary brigade in Bani Walid, said up to 150 pro-Gaddafi fighters raised the old green Libyan flag at the northern gate of the town and were battling revolutionary forces in the streets with rocket-propelled grenades and AK-47s.

"These are Gaddafi remnants who tried to take over the city," al-Warfali said. "They have tried to do this before and take over the interim government's office, but thank God we have been able to fight them off."
He said four revolutionary fighters have been killed. He did not know how many people had been wounded.
Bani Walid resident Moussa al-Warfali said the clashes began early on Monday, when Gaddafi loyalists angry over the arrest of one of their men, attacked revolutionary fighters in the town.

The fighting originally was centred around the revolutionary brigade's base, but has since spread to other parts of the town.
The clashes are considered serious enough that dozens of revolutionary fighters from Tripoli have been dispatched to Bani Walid to help, said brigade commander Saddam Abdel-Zein.

Bani Walid has long tormented Libya's revolutionaries.

After the fall of Tripoli to anti-Gaddafi fighters in August, regime loyalists found refuge in the town, and from there held off revolutionary forces for weeks, using the surrounding mountains and valleys to their advantage to pick off revolutionary forces.
Even after Gaddafi's capture and killing in October, the city and its surrounding region have troubled Libya's new leaders.
In November, 15 soldiers were killed in an ambush by Gaddafi loyalists just outside the town. And revolutionary fighters in Bani Walid have complained that the country's interim government has done little to help secure the city.

Anywhere credible reporting this?

Do you mean any Rothschild Media?
Doubts. It is likely not in their interest to report.

Election year, you will find little information on this from the Zionist news media.

RT (Russia Today) and Al Jazeera would jump at any opportunity to bash the US as imperialistic as long as the evidence was credible. Ditto for the British and French Media.

If Obama sent 12,000 troops to Libya, the administration would know that it wouldn't remain a secret forever, and would be starting the propaganda already. There is still a lot of real international press in Libya, and I'm sure they would notice it and would be more than happy to break the news for some fame.

I'm not denying that this is happening, I just need something credible to back it up.

Not a second report but a reprint of the first piece. No- there isn't any credible source to verify.

The 'first link' is Cynthia McKinney's piece from 1/13 when she claimed that there were 12,000 troops in Malta about to go to Libya. This was debunked by a man in Malta who said there was nowhere to hide that many troops, and that the entire Malta armed forces is one third that size. Iran seems to have picked up on McKinney's bogus piece and written their own.

Those 12,000 troops would have to come from somewhere. That's 2+ brigades. Which units are they? If this were real that information would be easy enough to find.

I understand having skepticism of the MSM, however, Cynthia McKinney has claimed to have information that the Bush Administration executed 5,000 people in New Orleans post-Katrina. Please.

Not sure. Not sure of the story..True or False.
as far as "credible" sources,,,, There are few, certainly not the MSM.

How many troops were in Angola or Rhodesia in the 70s ?
How many were reported? Did you know the US was involved in wars there?
I only know because I was recruited and declined,, but knew some who were involved.
It wasn't reported,, and there was no internet then.

How many are really in Libya.. History will tell.
