In light of Rand being detained today, seems like a good time to contact your Rep's and tell them to support Ron Paul's American Traveler Dignity Act H.R. 2438

I feel very strongly about this topic. Please support this effort. I posted this message in a few threads here becuse this matter relates to me on a personal level.........

We should not be subjected to anyone frisking us if we haven't committed a crime. I was once frisked by a women police officer who had all the stereotypical markings of a dyke and she grabbed me by the balls and massaged them. It was some sort of power trip she was on. I was 17 years old and was asked to stop for no apparent reason and violated with no recourse. Just because someone wears a badge doesn't make them decent people. Some of these TSA people aren't even high school graduates and sent through minimal training while offered low wages.

I figured it would be mentioned in the Rand Paul threads so I wanted to start a thread on it. You are completely right about some of them not even graduating high school. That's how federal control works. All the people that once stood for something are forced out as the feds make sure they put people in that can't think for themselves and simply just take orders. Its happening to all of our public "officials" from the police to the school teachers. We will see the same thing happen in health care (even more) as federal control expands - Real doctors looking to make money while serving the consumer will be replaced by bureaucrats who are just in it for the pension.

If we want quality, efficient travel security the TSA MUST BE ABOLISHED.

Great bill, now he should be pushing this and other libertarian in nature topics in the next caucus states. We need to bring home the point that the nanny is overpaid and committing crimes. It is time to tell the nanny you are fired, mom and dad can handle their own business.

Just called my congressman's office in D.C. The staffer noted that Ron Paul had introduced the bill, and that it had no co-sponsors, but hinted that they might talk to my congressman about becoming a co-sponsor. I doubt it, since Con. Nunnelee is a "conventional conservative" who voted for the NDAA (I'm pretty sure). Still, I made my voice known.
