This man, tortured, bound, gagged and chemical sprayed until dead:

Well, bitching and raising hell on the internet can make difference, the story was picked up by the MSM and now there is a new investigation being ordered.

Not justice yet, but at least maybe a start toward justice.

Also, keep in mind that this whole thing started when his wife called the cops to "help" because her husband was acting "depressed".

DO NOT CALL THE COPS.

The life you save may be your own or a loved one's.

Governor orders review of 2009 jail death

http://www.abc-7.com/story/16566757/2012/01/20/governor-orders-review-of-christie-case

Governor Rick Scott has ordered the Florida Department of Law Enforcement to conduct a review of the case of Nicholas Christie, who died after being in custody in the Lee County Jail.

The governor issued the directive on January 5th.

Christie, 62, died in 2009 after run-ins with deputies. He was arrested, became combative in jail.

He was restrained in a chair naked and repeatedly pepper-sprayed, while having a spit mask covering his mouth.

Christie was eventually taken to Gulf Coast Medical Center, where he died of heart failure.

The State Attorney's Office declined to pursue the case in January 2010.

His widow is suing the sheriff's office and contends Christie was suffering from mental illness. The case was profiled this week on the Today show.

I hope something comes of this. Whoever is responsible for his death has probably been thinking they got off scott free. Damn, do I hope they pay.

I hope that poor guy does get justice. Such a sad situation.

Do not call the state. For any reason. They will not help. They will hold whatever you say to them against you.

Godspeed, Mr. Christie.

Governor Rick Scott has ordered the Florida Department of Law Enforcement to conduct a review of the case...

How about we do it in a court with a jury of their peers. "Peers' being civilians.

FDLE won't open criminal investigation into Christie case (http://www.winknews.com/Local-Florida/2012-01-27/abcd)

The Florida Department of Law Enforcement has issued a statement detailing why they will not open a criminal investigation in the case of Nicholas Christie.

Florida Governor Rick Scott's office requested for an investigation January 5th, 2012, after receiving dozens of complaints from citizens. The request came three years after WINK NEWS first broke the story that Nicholas Christie had been pepper sprayed ten time and died two days later in the hospital.

After presenting a synopsis of events leading to Christie's death, FDLE concludes that, "in the absense of additional information, there is no apparent basis for the initiation of a criminal investigation."
[...]
“The Lee County Sheriff’s Office conducted an extensive investigation which spanned months and involved interviewing more than 90 witnesses. Upon completion, the entire investigation was turned over to several other independent government entities including the State Attorney’s Office - 20th Judicial Circuit, the US Attorney’s Office and the Federal Bureau of Investigation, who conducted independent investigations of the case. None of the investigations found criminality on the part of the Lee County Sheriff’s Office. The Lee County Sheriff’s Office continues to stand behind the investigation and although the death of Mr. Christie is tragic, the specific facts of this case are presently before the Federal Court and no further comments will be made.”

It's like Celente says, there is no Justice here in the UFSA. Only Just Us.

Wow, what a surprise. The guys who did it investigate themselves, and find nothing wrong. Then the guys who did it are investigated by the guys who *employ* the guys who did it, and the investigation finds nothing wrong.:rolleyes:

I've come to expect and accept this with all State murders.

Short of a revolution, this will continue. I'm not talking blood in the streets, but a massive shift in the intellectual capacity of hundreds of millions of Americans. The consent of the masses feeds the State. Converting sheeple to patriots is our only hope for the future (and RP in the WH is a good start).

Regardless fo blood in the streets or not, it will take a revolution and it will also take the dragging, kicking and screaming, of most of our fellow citizens along for the ride.

Because that "awakening" is not liable to happen anytime soon.

People prefer the status quo, even if the status quo is tyranny, to radical change, which is needed.

It's as true now as it was 235 years ago when Jefferson wrote about it.
