Rep. Giffords Stepping Down...Do We Have a Liberty Candidate to Run for Her Seat?

Looks like there's going to be a special election in Arizona sometime between now and March. It was announced this morning that Gabrielle Giffords is stepping down to take some time off and recover from her injuries, after that terrible shooting incident last year.

I find this fishy. she was in a hospital and rehab for a year, and should have resigned much sooner.

now, she goes thru the motions, causes a special election in June (primary in April) ; and someone fills a seat when congress is on break (summer is always vacation, Sept/Oct in an election year they all campaign)

Fishy or not, we will have to keep our eyes open to see who declares their candidacy.
